Obverse
1804 Silver Dollar
First struck in the 1830s, this coin earned its name by repurposing the Draped Bust Dollar designs that were last used in 1803 when the Mint produced "1804" dated coins. The obverse depicts a draped bust of Liberty facing right, with long hair bound by a ribbon, flanked by 13 stars. Inscriptions are “LIBERTY” and “1804.”
